Fans of Irish music and dance should flock to Dublin
Square, 554 Fourth Ave., downtown, Wednesday nights for
its "Irish Dance Cabaret." Featuring the work of choreographer
Liam Harner, formerly with the London production of "Riverdance,"
alongside the music of six-piece neotraditional group
Skelpin, the evening is a delight of sights and sounds.
It's a top-flight night out - from the dazzling footwork
of the dancers to the skillful playing of the band. In
addition, Dublin Square offers a warm and friendly atmosphere,
with great sight-lines whether you are out on the comfortable
patio or inside the restaurant/bar. Whether you just
pop in for a song or two, or take the whole evening's
extravaganza, you will leave thoroughly entertained.
There is no cover charge asked, but dineer packages are
available. 8 p.m.; all ages; (619) 239-5818. |
