Arak is a white
alcohol where the French distillation methods are
matched with tradition. After the first distillation
a 67% alcohol is obtained. The alcohol is distilled
a second time to take out methanol. The third distillation
is made in a still from “Charentes”.
The “Arak de Kefrays” is methanol free
after being distilled four times.Traditionally
in Lebanon, Arak goes with mezzas. In Europe it
is most tasted as aperitif with water and ice cubes.
